Note: Even after 700 years of its construction, the palace still makes people curious!
The red sandstone structure with several entry points and a large courtyard is enough to stimulate curiosity in people. Bhuli Bhatiyari is a 14th-century structure built by Sultan Firoz Shah. It would have been a charming place with hunting trails in the forests beside the Yamuna river. Even though the spooky vibe and forests encircling around it are enough to name it as a haunted place, but it is still in question by people who visit here in search of supernatural experiences.
From Karol Bagh metro station, you can reach this fort in a minute of walk. This palace attracts young people the most who take an interest in reading and exploring spooky places. People who stayed here overnight have claimed that they heard strange voices. Some report tagging of ears and head, while some claim clicking pictures of forest walls that later vanished and were never seen.
The locals around this place have just engineered such stories just to increase the popularity of Bhuli Bhatiyari. But still, every day after sunset, the road leading to the forest is blocked by police, and no person can enter the premises after that.
Whether you believe in such spooky stories or not, it is completely a matter of belief. But these stories surely make it a place of interest for many. If you are in Delhi or visiting Delhi, then do hit a visit to this place and tell us about your experience. We await your response!
