Note: This bike has seating for a pillion rider too!
In today’s era, electric bikes are a boom to society for an easy commute. They are eco-friendly and cost-efficient. And top of that, you do not need a license to ride one.
A Gurgaon based electric firm, Detel, has come up with this newly designed electric scooter that can ride up to 25 kms per hour with a run time of 2.5 hours in a single charge. It only costs ₹ 20,000.

Detel has always been the brain behind making technology affordable for all. Prior to these electric scooters, they launched an LCD TV at just ₹3999 and also worked on a battery-enabled cycle that does not go as per the expectations in terms of cost. After this failure, the team of 16 members was employed who conducted market research on the requirements of the users and then came up with this electric scooter. It has a pillion seat, a basket to carry things in front, and weight about 59 Kg. Even though you do not need a license to ride it, but the helmet is compulsory for all.
In case the battery runs out, it also has pedals attached that can be used to cover the distance. It can be driven by any person, regardless of age. It was launched by the Chief Minister of Delhi himself. Detel has also been launching other products like hand sanitisers, face masks, thermometers, and many more.
